This was how padding was done, by using a ratt and rolling it up on each side of the head, it is very Elizabethan and how i done it was, parted the hair in the middle and brushed it, then sectioned on both sides to the ear, but the hair that is left at the back twist it into a bun like shape. Start on one side by rolling the ratt up in towards the hair so it sits on top of the head at the front, which i secured to the head with bobby pins. And then do the exact same on the other side.I really like this look as it is old fashioned and always been a way to do this and for me i like the style, it is very simple to do and shows i have looked at the Elizabethan hair.
