My Creation of my Partners Hair design Assessment

I think that i done well with the sectioning and it being in the right place that would work, then crimping the hair was ok, but then sectioning every bit of hair for crimping was a slow process and especially as i have not got many skills in doing that, so i took my time. The Styling using a afro comb to brush out the crimped texture was simple, but not knowing whether i have done it to much or not, because then you lose the texture, then going on to backcomb was hard for me, as i haven't use a brush like that to do it before and i thought made it look matted at some point, as it make it stand out, but once you go to do the heart shape you can see it go into place and why it should be done.

The most difficult part for me was twisting the hair around the back of the head into the middle where the parting is, because it was supposed to go inwards and not twist so much and hold the hair so tight, as i was grabbing, which is why it wouldn't go in properly, i just couldn't get the hang of it, so i decided to do my own version of how i think it looks like and was easy then to get the outline of what it would look like. The gold which was secured in the middle all the way along to the back of the head, and thread sewn on each end where the bobby pins would go, so then they can be secured at the front hidden under the hair and at the back to.

if i did it again i would practice with my timing of taking less time to do things that are not that crucial to do and focus on the parts that are more important, even practice different styles that i find difficult so then i know what i'm doing more.Even just being more confident in how it looks and what i'm doing.
