What i done here was i didn't use a ratt to hold these two heart shaped pieces of hair up, but i rolled it over with my hand, then use the pins to keep it up. It is kinda messy, as i want to look at making the front bigger and higher and working on this head was not that good,as the hair is quite dry and thick after doing a lot of crimping to it over and over again.
This is where i have secured the front, like a pin curl to try out the look, inspired by Elizabeth 1 before she was queen, but she had plait like buns instead. I have plaited the hair here behind the ear and then shaped them around the curl and then secure them into it. I like how the plaits come around it, trying to make a bun shape. I would like to make it neater than what i have done here, but is a idea, that i could practice doing, but not the best one i have done though.
After i have secured the plaits into position and it does look strange, but i wanted it to and be subtle at the same time. I was inspired by Elizabethan in that era when she was young, but also the plaits that Elizabethan's wore a lot, but a way that it is not loose, but tightly secured like it is part of the front of the hair, that is high.
