Plait and big hair ideas

visual optimism; fashion editorials, shows, campaigns & more!: jing, gigi, ondria, antonia, kitty, anna, laura and paige by brigitte niedermair for harper's bazaar uk may 2015: I want to use plaits in my design and it to be high, and this shows a good example of plaits and high. I wouldn't use this as a inspiration, but i like how the hair is held up and looks very fantasy. The thing that makes it Elizabethan is the High hairline and it being up so high and neat.

I was looking at tribal as my first thought for my character, but the front part is a inspiration, as i want my design to be like that as the front, as the lady waiting doesnt cae and doesnt want to be like anyone else. It was to do with her being powerful, like authority which is why the tribal style, which is what i see her like before she loses money and the queen dies and she wants to look strong, but when she just cares about wealth.

What i like about this is the hair on top and i want to know how to do it, but the plaits are even better. It does remind me of Elizabethan hair in with the big hair and loose plait, which is what makes it contemporary, that it is messy and undone.

Inspiration - Séance Photo Créative:

The reason i have chosen this is the rolled up hair at the front, which is what i have thought about and how it would look, but mine would have Elizabethan era influence, but as well as modern, like this. It being messy and undone, makes it stand out.
